May is always one of the busiest times of the year. Mother’s Day, graduations, prom and the kids coming home from college makes May hectic. I look forward to summer. Not that there any any lazy days of summer for me. I just look forward to it and hope that, after May, things slow down a little bit. I work on upcoming weddings that I am doing the planning for, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs that I decorate for.  I also make new purchases for my website and store. I wish all of you a Happy May. There are only so many days a year where you can stop and really let your mother know how much you care about her. Mother’s Day is one of those days. You can send her flowers, take her to a nice brunch, give her a thoughtful gift and spend quality time with her. To be honest, time spent with mom is all she really wants.  As a mother of four children from the ages of 15 to 22, I am excited to know that we will all be together on Mother’s Day. Our tradition is to drive to Colorado Springs and go to the most amazing brunch at the Broadmoor Hotel.  We started the tradition of going to a brunch with the kids when they were very little and we lived in Houston.
