This years Mitzvah Mania was held at the DTC Hyatt on Sunday, March 22. Mitzvah Mania is a show was sponsored by Josh of Dance Trax Entertainment and Amy Toltz Miller of Amy Toltz Miller Special Events. It is an event that they hold every year for the vendors that have anything to do with the planning and production of a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. This years event was well attended. The Vedor’s booths were bigger and better than ever. The attendees commented that they were able to find everything that they needed to complete their event under one roof. I displayed gumball machines as my booth decor and to promote my promotional product business It’s a Gift in Denver, Colorado. They will be a party favor given at an upcoming Bat Mitzvah that I am planning and decorating. The Bat Mizvah girl has chosen a candy theme. What child wouldn’t be excited about taking home a momento of the evening in the form of a gumball machine with the Bat Mitzvah girl’s logo on it.
I have just returned from the gift show in Las Vegas. It was a ton of fun and a huge show. I found a few new products that I am really excited about to add to my gift collection this year. I found gorgeous 100% Cashmere Scarves and Capes. They are magnificent and come in a huge array of colors. I will post the link to their site in the next couple of days. I am about to place and order and have them available for those who would like to purchase really special and unusual gifts. I also found the most amazing party favor for weddings, sweet sixteen or Bat Mitzvahs. It is a Wedding Favor Tower that is made up of mini beautiful boxes filled with candy coated almonds and arranged together to make a three tiered cake. Spectacular! This is a show stopper. I have also found wonderful products that I will add to my collection of party decorations and props. Great new things to come!
I have been working with Jan Szigeti, a marketing representative for Colorado Cleanup Services which is a remediation and restoration company. Jan’s task at hand was to put together a Speaker Breakfast for builders and builder related businesses. The topic to be discussed was how to effectively use “Outsourcing”. She came to me to help her with the design for the E-mail blast postcard and invitation. We worked together to get the marketing piece perfect. While working on that, I updated their logo and prepared it for future promotional product applications. I worked closely with Jan and owner, Dean Tomsick to make a beautiful full color brochure for their marketing needs. Mr. Tomsick is aware of how effective promotional products are in marketing his business. He has a very impressive room in his 8000 square foot warehouse devoted to past items used to promote and market his business. I was very excited that the pieces that we were about to work on would be included in such an amazing room to be showcased. We put his newly updated logo on coffee mugs that were used at the builder presentation. I filled the mugs with candy and placed them in celo bags. I sealed them with curling ribbon and attached one of Jan’s business cards. We placed these mugs on the table for every guest to take with them when they left. Having the mug packages on the table also aided in a very impressive table presentation that Jan created for their guests. We applied the logo to estimating notepads and 3 x 3 note blocks as well. They have ordered beautiful blue coffee tumblers for their April marketing strategy. It has been a pleasure working with such a wonderful group of people at CCS. I will absolutely refer them to anyone that has a need for their restoration and remediation services. They are a very efficient and detail.
Today is Shannon Chase’s baby shower. I have the perfect gift for her. I am going to make her a Stuffed Balloon with diapers and a blue Teddy Bear inside. I can add anything to it as long as it is small enough to fit in a five inch hole, is light in weight and can balance in the center of the balloon. I think a check will be a nice addition so that she can buy something else that she needs. I will add a picture as soon as I get it made!
I am sitting with Steve Mertz at Starbucks. Steve is the owner of SEO Speakers. He has made this blog for me through his company. It is amazingly easy. I am just learning how to post and use it to market my business. Once I learn, I can offer this service to you, too!
